The results we’re getting (and why they’re hard to swallow) 🤔

You are a friggen rockstar.
Truly. I have zero doubt about it.
If you are a woman in this world, I can all but guarantee that you have rocked some mega-watt obstacles in your life and lived to tell the tale.
I know I have.
So I was humbled (and slightly annoyed) yesterday when I had to admit to myself that I might be playing it safe.
Now, sometimes playing safe is what’s called for.
But in this case — in the case of my business — I don’t want to play it safe.
I want to coach more women, speak to more people, and — who am I kidding — make a (better) living doing what I love.
So when I shared the thought, “I’m not making enough money,” with a coaching mentor, he asked this question:
What am I doing — or not doing — that’s getting me the result I’m currently getting?
Oh fu*k — is this another growth edge?
Hadn’t I done enough yet? I wrote a book, I wrote a talk, I’m launching programs and building programs... is there more stretching to do?
The answer is, if I want a different outcome — yes.
However... it’s not as easy as just doing more.
I’m going to have to dive back under my resistance and find out why I am not doing the things I might do to get a different outcome.
Under the surface, there’s a reason my fear doesn’t want me to change the outcome.
Just like I ask my clients to do — just like the women in this week’s Artist Accelerator are doing — I have to look at the beliefs keeping me from taking real steps toward a bigger stage.
Which makes sense.
All of our fears make sense when we look in the shadows of our past.
So, I’m going to do that work... because I do believe we are fu*cking rockstars.
If the outcome you are currently getting isn’t the one you want, ask yourself this question tonight:
What am I doing — or not doing — that’s getting me the result I’m currently getting?
After I answered that question, I took a nap. And that made sense too.
