Do you ever just want to quit? Crawl under the covers and submit to what you believe is the stark reality of your current experience? I sure do. I did. Last week. Last week I knew that my numbers for my biz in 2024 were a break even, and my gremlin-thoughts were not having it. They wanted me to throw in the towel and get a "real job." 👹Nice try, Naomi, but it's time for a new plan. They didn't stop there, oh no. You don't have enough time to make it work, kid. You don't have enough money, enough clients, enough talent, enough security, enough, enough, enough. How did I shake those thoughts? It might surprise you. 💰I did my taxes. Fear often comes from not having the information we need to be in choice. Without the hard facts, we'll only get so far. My taxes give me proof, alright. Which wasn't a surprise. I broke even - as I suspected. But what I didn't expect, was to feel empowered. Now that I could see what I was working with - I could make a choice. That I can do. 🙏🏼 When my dad died seventeen years ago, the Rabbi at his funeral shared the meaning of Dayenu - a favorite song during Passover - which in Hebrew means "It would have been enough." With all that we are witnessing in the world, the losses and the sacrifices, the compassion and the resilience, I often recall that moment. I broke even. That is enough. No gremlins, no lack. Just enough. With facts in hand, I can make choices without worrying about what I don't have enough of and focus, instead, on what is possible. With facts in hand, I'm going to double down on my commitment to my work and to you. I'm excited to make some (new) hard choices to make that possible. 🌟What proof do you need to quiet your gremlins? 🌟What do you need to do to get that proof? 🌟How does that impact your commitment to create what matters most to you today? We can do h
ard things! xo, Naomi
